Soldiers may joke about getting out of the Army and becoming potheads.  But one veteran took it to a whole new level. Edwin Struve, a former doctor, recently told a New Jersey judge he began a habit of puffing on as many as 30 joints a day after he was discharged from the Army in 1968, The Associated Press reports. Struve also told a judge he had 58 marijuana plants in his New Jersey home that he’s been cultivating for decades. The record-setting West Point running back Collin Mooney scored high marks at a recent NFL pre-draft testing event at the University of Oklahoma, reported the The Associated Press. The bruising fullback, who rushed for an Army season record 1,339 yards in 2008, traveled to Norman, Okla., from his duty station at Fort Sill on a personal mission. “I really just want to spark some interest,” Mooney said. “I’ve been out of the game for two years. Aron Hijar, the anticipation of meeting Hollywood’s scintillating stars at late-February’s Academy Awards caused him repeated anxiety attacks, he told USA Today. “Keeping your cool under fire is not nearly as big a deal as keeping your cool in front of people you’ve idolized your whole life,” said Hijar, one of the soldiers from the Oscar-nominated documentary “Restrepo.”  He was hoping to see Al Pacino, reported the paper.  “This is otherworldly.
